Ms.Annelynne and the word "tally"

Reading an article about Corona virus from the New York Times, I have come across to the word "tally" in "Officials in Hubei revised their case tallies....." and it quickly reminded me of my colleague whom I used to work with at Burjeel hospital, Abu Dhabi, back in 2014.

She was Ms. Annelynne, from the Philippines. I still remember her asking me whether or not my cash and card payment collections were being tallied to those already posted on the system.

To be fair, it was my first time ever to hear such a word, and I had no idea whatsoever what it meant at the time. I don't even remember what answer I had given. After I had been at the hospital accommodation, I looked it up, and found what it meant. I felt so bad, and even ashamed of myself.

If there is something that can be learned form such a situation, it will be to stop dwelling on it, and start working on fixing what had caused it instead.

Take care, and even be ware of those who are after your money.

Would you like me to give you a practical piece of advice? Well, here it is. Never listen to those salesmen who are always there wearing their uniform, and keeping an eye on you, and pretending they are there to help you.                     Do not ever listen to them. They have been put there to get as much money from you as they can. They are cheaters.                        It was on that day when I had been to Jarir Bookstore where I bought a whiteboard, and some markers for it. I did my best to help myself, and not to call them for it. However I had to do when I requested them to bring me a bigger one. They went and came back with it.                       And here they started what they are known for: collecting money from...
